Soothing Mushroom Smoothie

You can have it any time of the day.

Everyone wants easy, quick, healthy, no cooking, less effort recipes, so why wait, this mushroom smoothie recipe is for you.

Before sharing the recipe, let me tell you little bit about mushrooms.

Mushrooms are full of fiber, vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants, minerals, protein, moreover they have medicinal values, fat free, cholesterol free. Some of such mushrooms are Chaga, Maitake, Shiitake, Cordyceps, Reishi, Lion’s mane, Turkey tail, Oyster, Cremini, White button, Portobello etc. They all help improve immune system and are anti inflammatory.

Let’s start….

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped cremini mushrooms, wiped with paper towel
  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped banana
  • 1/4 cup cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup almond/ coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar or to taste (optional)

Method:

Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend till smooth.

Note:  Instead of fresh veggies and fruits, frozen can be taken, equally good.
